Bayley Test
The Bayley Test or Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development (BSID) is an assessment battery used to measure cognitive, motor, and socio-emotional development in infants and young children. Developed in the 1960s, it has been revised and updated in several versions (such as Bayley-II, Bayley-III, and Bayley-IV) to improve its accuracy and adapt to new models of child development.
The test consists of tasks and manipulative materials adapted to the child's age, such as toys, blocks, cards, puzzles, and objects for stacking or exploring.
